A red team’s work depends on knowing where to look, recognising what matters and deciding what to pursue next. Time spent carrying out one task is time that cannot be spent exploring another question. Experienced professionals need room to follow the leads that deserve their attention.
KINETICS helps teams delegate work to AI agents so they can devote more attention to investigation and decisions. Teams already use it in real operations for that purpose: handing off work while continuing to direct the operation.

Control over the operation
For critical infrastructure, public institutions and organisations entrusted with sensitive information, the conditions of an operation matter as much as its objectives. The team needs to decide what may be done, who may do it and when a decision requires human judgement.
KINETICS allows the degree of autonomy to be set for each operation. Teams can choose how much work to delegate, with actions subject to permissions and approval requirements. The appropriate balance depends on the mission and the responsibility the team carries.
Delegating work must preserve the team’s authority. The professionals accountable for an operation need to remain able to direct it and intervene. That is a principle we apply to the use of AI throughout our work.
The freedom to choose dependencies
The same authority should extend to the technology itself. A platform can become deeply embedded in an institution: processes grow around it, knowledge accumulates with its supplier and changing direction becomes harder.
For us, digital sovereignty means choosing your dependencies and retaining the means to change them. Each institution should decide what it needs to control according to its mission.
That choice needs practical support. Teams need the knowledge to understand their systems and options they can actually use if a service becomes unavailable, a supplier changes direction or their own requirements evolve. Different missions will call for different degrees of independence.
Building capability in Switzerland
We want Swiss institutions to have access to technology that competes with the best and respects their need for control. Building that capability here also develops expertise they can draw on over time.
